Fesitval of Extraordinary Movies Began in Sandomierz

Sandomierz News from April 29, 2009. The Festival of Extraordinary Movies just began in Sandomierz. The repertoire consists of movies from Poland and from all over the world. A novelty in this year are the movie-and-music workshops. Few dozens feature movies, meetings with directors and actors, documentaries filmed many years ago. It's extraordinary mostly because of the place we're in. Also because of the extraordinary people we invite. In this year the festival has greately developed because it's the first time when all-polish movie-and-music workshops are organized for the youth. The festival in Sandomierz is not a contest but a celebration of ambitious cinema for sensitive viewers. Central figure of each festival is an extraordinary movie maker. W Sandomierzu rozpoczął się Festiwal Filmów Niezykłych W repertuarze filmy polskie i światowe. Nowością w tym roku są warsztaty filmowo-muzyczne. Kilkadziesiąt filmów fabularnych, spotkania z reżyserami i aktorami, prezentacje dokumentów sprzed lat. Jego niezwykłość polega głównie na miejscu w którym jesteśmy. Polega również na tym że zapraszamy niezwykłe osoby, postaci. W tym roku forma festiwalu się znacznie rozwnęła bo w tym roku po raz pierwszy odbywają się ogólnopolskie warsztaty filmowo-muzyczne dla młodzieży. Sandomierski festiwal nie jest konkursem, jest świętem kina ambitnego przeznaczonego dla wrażliwych widzów. Głównym bohaterem każdej edycji festiwalu jest niezwykły twórca.
