The Crypts in the Cathedral of Sandomierz

Sandomierz News from November 2, 2008. Only once a year the undergrounds of the Cathedral are available for sightseeing. The meritorious hierarchs of the Sandomierz Church are buried there. This is a special place of cult. The cathedral undergrounds are very rarely available for tourists. The Cathedral in Sandomierz built in the times of Casimir the Great is the most important church of Sandomierz Diocese. It's a place of meditation and cult but also a peculiar tourist attraction. The crypts will be opened till the 8th November.
